Globe Lights are something that will never go away. Just look around and you will see them getting more and more popular. Some great places to buy them are local hardware/furniture shops, but also big places like Home Depot.
When you finally start installing them look out for the rustic look globe lights because although they may be nice to look at I've had problems with them peeling pretty soon after being in any sort of sunlight.
